Cultural Fair Open House!
The Department of Asian & Asian American Studies held it's Spring Open House/Cultural Fair on April 2nd. From 11am-3pm, faculty, staff and student volunteers demonstrated traditional asian arts and cafts including: origami, paper cutting, hanbock origami, calligraphy, henna, and more! Guests snacked on asian candies and cookies and chatted with faculty and students about our programs, courses and upcoming events. This event also helps to kick off AAPI heritage month, here at SBU.
